The Baptizing Church is pleased to announce the start of our Education Endowment Fund.
The TBCEEF is a CareSpring Ministry Initiative of the Baptizing Church. The TBCEEF is currently open for students from the University of Abuja.
Funded by the TBC Abuja, the TBCEEF enables talented and motivated individuals to gain knowledge and skills and is aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study at the University of Abuja. TBCEEF will be launched in the 1st Quarter, 2020 with an inaugural set of 10 students and a Tuition Value cap of 50,000 Nigerian Naira.
ELIGIBILITY
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
a. Be a registered student of the University of Abuja in your sophomore year (Year Two) at least;
b. Have a minimum 3.5 or higher CGPA at the end of Year One/preceding year;
c. Be unable to afford to study at the University of Abuja without this scholarship.
HOW TO APPLY
Note: All multiple entry applications will be outrightly disqualified!
Candidates must include the following supporting documentation in order for your application to be eligible for consideration:
i. Proof of Exact Tuition Fee.
ii. Complete and Verified Results for the Previous Academic year (minimum of Year One)
iii. References from three (3) individuals (from parent/guardian, department HOD/lecturer, and church leader). Verification of referees by email/phone call and visit if necessary.
The TBCEEF will not accept recommendations submitted outside this application system.
All applications must be submitted by close of business on February 24th, 2020 (5:00pm)
SELECTION PROCESS
Each year, the TBCEEF Committe under the leadership of the CareSpring will review applications, shortlist qualified scholars, and forward recommendations to the TBC EMT for approvals.
All applications will be considered according to the following selection criteria:
1. Academic merit of the candidate
2. Recommendation from Referees
3. Economic circumstances of the applicant.
VALUE
Funds will be disbursed directly to the University Approved Payment Portal for Tuition Only.
